ZAGO PADEL

ZAGO PADEL is a four-court club on Jl. Bina Marga in Ceger, Cipayung, at the far eastern edge of Jakarta. Its slogan is "semua bisa main padel" — anyone can play padel — and the pricing matches: a modal Rp 99,000 an hour, with an early band at Rp 50,000.

The courts

Courts A to D are laid on terracotta premium padel turf, enclosed in framed glass with black mesh above, and ranged either side of a central concourse. The operator logs all four as indoor, and padelmesh records the venue as roofed. The photographs show why both are partly right and neither is the whole story: a continuous translucent barrel-vault canopy runs the length of the site, but the flanks and both gable ends are open to the air, with trees, sky and neighbouring rooftops visible straight through the mesh. Reviewers describe it accordingly — cool and well-ventilated in the evening, warm in the middle of the day, with fans rather than air conditioning. It is filed here as both indoor and outdoor, because the roof is real and so is the open air.

Across five forward weekdays the club listed 360 priced slots with 316 available, in two bands: Rp 99,000 for 280 of them and Rp 50,000 for 80. Rp 99,000 is the modal band and the figure recorded here.

Coaching and equipment

No in-house academy is published. The house rules do address outside coaches — players wanting to bring their own coach are asked to contact the venue for terms — so independent coaching happens on site but is not a venue service, and coaching is recorded unavailable. No racket or ball hire is published, and none appears in the reviews; players may bring a maximum of eight personal balls per court.

Facilities and neighbours

Café and restaurant, snacks, changing rooms, showers and car and motorbike parking. Reviewers are consistent that the courts themselves are in good condition and that the washrooms are the weak point. Note for future runs: PointCourt Racket Club is also on Jalan Bina Marga in Ceger and is already listed. It is a different venue — three padel courts plus a tennis court under a solid pitched roof with a timber-slatted hall and a glazed clubhouse coffee shop, against ZAGO's four courts under an open-sided red-bannered barrel vault.
