Tropical Sunset Padel Club

Tropical Sunset Padel Club is the first padel court in Gresik, opened on 25 September 2025 inside the Kawasan Industri Gresik (KIG) estate at KIG Barat IV Blok Q-18. It sits about 20 km north-west of central Surabaya and is filed here under Surabaya because the directory has no separate Gresik category — the club itself is in Kabupaten Gresik, East Java.

The courts

A single full-size court with a terracotta synthetic surface, framed toughened-glass end and lower side panels and black steel mesh above, set under a free-standing black corrugated canopy carried on steel columns. The roof covers the court completely, but the structure has no walls: at court level the flanks open straight onto grass, a boundary fence and mature trees, so play is sheltered from rain and sun while staying fully open to the air. Padelmesh classifies it as Roofed; we file it as both indoor and outdoor for that reason. Floodlights are mounted along the roof beams for evening play.

• One court, so booking ahead is sensible — the club can be reached on 0812-1742-1497.
• Open daily 07:00–23:00.
• Rackets are available to rent on site, reported in the local press at Rp 50,000.
• Changing rooms and showers on site; the wider KIG sports complex also has badminton, futsal, table tennis and tennis facilities.
• Court hire was reported at the opening as starting from Rp 200,000 per hour, with one outlet quoting a Rp 200,000–250,000 band. We have not been able to sample a live booking calendar, so no rate is published here.

Context

Gresik is an industrial town and the court was built to serve both the estate's workforce and players from the wider town, which is why it sits inside KIG rather than in a retail or resort setting. It is not related to Tropical Padel in Bandung or to Sunset Reserve Padel in Bali, which are separate clubs under unconnected ownership. As of this writing the club carries no public rating or review score.
