The courts

One court, laid on green synthetic turf with white service lines and a centre service line, enclosed in a black-framed cage of toughened glass with weld mesh above and along the flanks. The club's own roots wordmark is repeated along the top frame, on the uprights, across the net tape and on the green post padding, which ties the photograph to this venue with no ambiguity. Players are on court and loose balls are on the turf. The hall has a solid ceiling, white walls, a mezzanine and wall-mounted fans, with no daylight in frame, which supports the indoor classification carried on padelmesh.

Roots sits on the same street as the already-listed Paddle Padel, also in Meruya Utara. They are different venues: Paddle Padel runs two courts on black turf inside a dark steel-clad hall under air conditioning, while Roots is a single green-turf court in a white-walled hall. Both are worth knowing about if you are in this part of West Jakarta.
