Padelcation at Aughi Home

Padelcation is a one-court padel venue at Aughi Home, a guesthouse on Jl. Babakan in Cimenyan, in the hills north-east of Bandung. The idea is in the name: padel plus a vacation. Guests can combine a game with an overnight stay, but the court is also open to the public by the session, which makes it a quiet alternative to the busy multi-court halls in the city.

The court

There is just one court, so whoever books it has the place to themselves. It is a smart, design-led build with glass back walls and mustard-yellow mesh framing, a sand-coloured playing surface and trees and planting all around it, which keeps the setting calm and leafy. A small spectator area sits alongside for friends who come to watch.

Booking

The court is booked through the AYO app, with sessions from around Rp 150,000, and each booking includes drinking water. Bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded. Smoking is not allowed on site.

With only one court, Padelcation suits a regular group of four, a couples' doubles session or a weekend away in the cooler air above Bandung rather than large social mixers or tournaments.
