Dr Padells Social Club sits on Jl. Cisatu in Ciumbuleuit, the cool hillside neighbourhood above north Bandung, and it has built its identity around a single design decision: sand-beige turf. The club claims the first sand-beige padel surface in Indonesia, laid at 16,500 DTX — noticeably thicker than the standard synthetic grass used across most Indonesian venues — across two Ultra Panoramic Premium courts named Americano and Cappuccino.
Both courts are covered, glass-walled panoramic builds under a tensile canopy, with the club monogram etched into the back glass. Ayo Indonesia lists both as indoor. Sessions run 60 minutes and the club holds a flawless 5.00 rating from its reviewers, one of whom simply called it "lapangan ter-aesthetic".
The coffee programme is not an afterthought: Dr Ells Coffee operates a full specialty bar on site, with an espresso machine, grinders and a proper seating room facing the courts. The club describes itself as "Music, Coffee, Padel, Repeat".
Racket rental is available through the Ayo app or at the front desk, subject to availability; balls are not included and can be brought or bought on site. The club's house rules restrict outside coaches from running paid sessions without management approval, and cap non-coaching sessions at eight balls per court.
Open daily 06:00-22:00. Court hire starts from IDR 100,000 per hour, rising to around IDR 250,000 in peak evening slots. A monthly Americano Membership runs on a 30-day cycle with a four-session minimum and a 10% discount on court rates.
