Arete Sports Complex is a purpose-built sport, fitness and recovery campus on Jl. Pantai Balangan in Jimbaran, a few minutes above the Balangan cliffs in South Bali. It held its grand opening on 5 July 2026 and is one of the largest single-site padel builds on the island, with seven courts under one roof structure plus a gym, a mini-soccer pitch and a full recovery wing. The name comes from the Greek areté — excellence — and the club leans hard into that, positioning itself for tournament play as much as for social doubles.
Seven panoramic double courts: six standard courts and one championship court built to host high-level matches and tournaments. All seven are roofed rather than fully enclosed — a steel canopy keeps rain and midday sun off while the open sides let the sea breeze through, so play continues year-round. Courts are open daily 06:00 to 22:00.
Arete runs a structured padel academy on Playtomic. Public clinics are scheduled through the week under resident coach Eloy Giralt — a beginners clinic (level 1 to 2.5) and an intermediate clinic (level 2.5 to 3.5), both 90 minutes at IDR 250,000 per player. Private coaching and group sessions are bookable directly through the club.
An Early Bird promotion runs 6 July to 6 September 2026: 60-minute padel sessions from IDR 380,000, 90 minutes from IDR 580,000 and 120 minutes from IDR 760,000. Standard post-promotion pricing had not been published at the time of writing — confirm with the club before booking.
